Dangly Online is a shard that
I created because of the lack of non-serious shards out there... I do not
mean non-serious in the attitude towards the shard, I mean every shard was
either "Professional Staff, RolePlay Enforced", or at the other
extreme, it was a self-dubbed "PvP Shard" that gave you lots of
cool loot, free skills and such, but not much to do beyond that. Dangly Online,
is obviously NOT designed to be a role-players realm. While I would not mind
seeing RP, and it will certainly be welcomed, the shard itself is not truly
a role-playing shard. It is meant to be a shard where you can socialize with
some friends, engage in some combat, be a blacksmith, etc. It is a shard where
I intend to give players lots to do, whether that is going on a GM-run quest,
participating in a tournament (be it combat or otherwise), building their
character, or just socialize with some friends. So as an annoying furniture
store owner once said, Come on down!

Yesterday, the shard was l33t hax0red by a russian. Basically,
I had forgotten about the built-in admin acct, so it had a default password.
Wow hes cool. Anyhow, I have decided to take further precautions and filter
the port just in case, but my router isn't overly friendly, so when you log-in
it will show two shards. Pick the bottom one. (Cool text art coming up)

Yay! Custom houses and multis! If you want to be able to see them,
download and extract the multi.zip file into your UO directory. It is available

Oh dear. I am not sure what happened, but my save files became
corrupted, and I had to reload from an old save. Since its Alpha, I will give
back all lost items, stats, skills, etc. Just page when I am around, or drop
me an e-mail (bodangly@hotmail.com) and I will login to fix your character.

The site is live! Not that anyone was anticipating its
coming, or even knew it would exist, but I sure am happy! Anyhow, the shard
is in an alpha stage. Read the features page for current items that are implemented
